About Town

Want to get involved in community events around town? We are working on several opportunities for student/family involvement for upcoming community events around the county. Some of the opportunities we are looking into include contests, art projects, volunteer opportunities, festivals, blood drives, parade floats, street fairs, etc. Please stay tuned for our first event to be announced soon. Susan G Komen Race for the Cure 5k run/walk:

When:	Sunday November 1st
Where:	Balboa Park, near the registration table
Time:	race starts at 8am but team meeting time is 7:30
Team Captain:	Samantha Fisk (HTMNC) or Jen Howard (HTHNC)
Registration fee:	$30

type in High Tech North County

note: you do not need to have a suggested goal of $125 so you could delete/skip that part and those who participate will recieve a T-Shirt with a our team Name on it.

P.S. We are going to try to get someone to pick up the shirts early so that the students can pick them up Friday and have time to decorate them if they wish to at home but not sure about this piece of info yet so I'll try and find out asap. I will also try and get a teacher contact number for that day since I'm not sure if I can go as of yet.
