Because there are many stakeholders in this topic (students, parents, school staff and administration), Shani Leader (Dean of Students) and I have formed a focus group to help address this issue. We will be offering an educational program for parents early in the 2010-2011 school year, but feel we should not delay in alerting our school community about this issue. We will be including "bites" of information in the email blasts.
