Dress Code

The purpose of the HTH Dress Code is to foster a professional, safe and respectful environment at school.

Tops - Collared shirts must be worn. Sweaters and blazers can be worn only over a collared shirt. Shoulders must be covered and exposed midsections are not acceptable. Button downs shirts must be buttoned.

Bottoms - Appropriate school attire includes long pants, shorts and skirts with the waistband at the waist. Excessively baggy pants, athletic wear, sweat pants or jeans with intentional holes are not acceptable. Length of skirts and shorts must be "closer to the knee than the thigh". (Approximately 2 inches above the knee).

Outer Wear - Jackets may be worn at any time over dress code attire. Hooded sweatshirts are not appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES

Text that promotes violence, profanity, alcohol, tobacco or drugs is prohibited.
Flip flops and slippers are not allowed.
Earrings are fine. Small, clear studs are allowed in place of nose rings during the school day.
